DKBI Metal Wiper Seal
Wiper seals (also called as scrapers, excluders, or dust seals) are installed on the exterior surface of the cylinder head to prevent pollutants from entering the cylinder assembly and hydraulic system.
The wiper seal's outer static sealing within the housing is also critical to prevent moisture or particles from penetrating around the wiper seal.

Description
Structural Design:
PAD seals are press-in wiper seals and have a double-lip design with an internal-facing wiper lip that regulates the lubrication film on the Rod.
The internal lip wipes excess fluid film from the rod on extending stroke and allows this excess fluid to return under the rod seal on the retracting stroke. Double-acting wipers, therefore, improve the performance and extend the service life of rod sealing systems.
Recommend using double-acting wiper seals in combination with U-cup rod seals with a single-lip design, such as PTB, that pressurized fluid can return to the hydraulic system.
